Laude Grading System
The AHS Laude system uses letter grades 'A, B, C, D & F' to designate achievement. There are 5 levels, and each course is assigned a level based on rigor. Driver’s education is not included in a student’s GPA on the Laude grading system. Students will not receive a class rank on their transcript, but will have a cumulative GPA. To determine GPA, the total points earned are divided by the number of credits taken. Students who have completed high school with academic honor will be recognized with one of three laude distinctions at graduation. Learn more about the Laude Grading System.
